RIP cigarettes
Fire fatalities in Scotland and recommendations to help reduce them - Final Phase: Review of Fire Investigation reports, written by Raman Chagger and published by BRE in 2020, defines RIP cigarettes (reduced ignition propensity cigarettes) as cigarettes that: ‘…have been designed to self-extinguish, after a period of time, if air is not drawn through them.’
